Baytown Holiday Cottages is a small North Yorkshire Booking Agency specialising in the Robin Hood’s Bay area of the North York Moor’s National Park. Surrounded by a backdrop of Heather Moorland, a panoramic Bay, and a dramatic coastline. Sam and Sian work to match the perfect relaxing coastal holiday cottage to you.
Over the moorland on the Yorkshire coast tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns and cities Robin Hood’s Bay makes for a special haven. Here you will find a family friendly, dog friendly nature filled paradise. Coastal and moorland walks on the doorstep, wildlife, old fisherman’s cottages, pubs, restaurants, tearooms, and quaint little shops. Delicious cakes, fresh seafood, and Yorkshire classics. Have you really tasted Fish & Chips until you have eaten them here? Landed locally you will not find fresher and we have not even mentioned the fresh dressed Crab.
Robin Hood’s Bay sits approximately halfway along the coastal stretch of the 109-mile Cleveland Way. This hike takes in famous landmarks, towns, villages, dramatic cliff tops and stunning moorland. The Cinder Track runs 21 miles along the old railway line between Whitby and Scarborough and takes in some of the same spectacular views as the Cleveland Way. Dip your toes in the sea here in Robin Hood’s Bay at the end of the Coast-to-Coast walk. Enjoy a well-earned pint in Wainwrights Bar.
No nook or cranny left unturned or stories of old have escaped us. Head back in time at the local museum when Robin Hood’s Bay was awash with Smugglers. Explore how every crevice of the village was a hidey hole for contraband. We know the cottages inside out and the families that once lived there. Our friends, our Robin Hood’s Bay family.
We are very new to considering and reviewing our impact on Accessible Tourism and Sustainable Tourism. We hope you will support us as we learn. We will continue to provide you with new Accessibility Information and what we are doing to help contribute to Sustainable Tourism.
Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby and the North York Moors National Park is more than just a living to us. It is our home; our playground and we have nothing but love for our surroundings.

Maximum number of pets accepted in a dog friendly cottage may be negotiated. If you do have additional pets please do contact us with your enquiry.

Cottages most suited to families are:
Lynnfield, Romaville, Little John House, Hensingham, Primrose Cottage, Gilroyd House, Greenfield House, Joyce Cottage, Limpet Cottage, Darncliff, Rothwell Cottage, Orchard Cottage, Sunny Place,Bay Cottage, Bert’s Cottage, Coach House Cottage, Cosy Cottage, Eastwood Cottage, Graystones, Roma Cottage, Rosemary Cottage, Sunnyside Cottage and Yarra House.
Fisherman’s Cottage is suitable for families with children over five years old only due to the nature of the staircase to the top floor.
Yarra House is suitable for families with children over the age of 12 year olds.
Enjoy luxury surroundings and come together with friends or family. Celebrate and gather in style.
Lynnfield has ample room to host a party of 10. Romaville has all the space you will need to host a party of 9.
Yards from the beach Little John House is a much sought after located property. Comfortable and spacious and is able to host a party of 8.
Hensingham is situated on the sought after Chapel Street. A cosy yet spacious property sleeping up to 6 Adults and an additional Child.
Primrose Cottage is situated on Albion Street just a stones throw from the beach and the Cleveland Way. A spacious yet cosy property sleeping 4 Adults as 3 Children.
All that you have to do is find a reason to celebrate.
Relax, laugh, eat, drink, and explore together. Create a memory that will never fade.
We can accommodate larger groups from a party of six up to ten.
