The North Yorkshire Moors is one of the best places in the country to stargaze. This is due to the low light pollution levels and clear horizons. The continuing increase in light pollution means that you will be lucky to see a small handful of stars in a big town or city. However, the further you get from the street lights, the better the view for you. From the darkest spots on the North York Moors you can see up to 2,000 stars on a clear night. Don’t believe us? Come and see for yourself.
