Graystones is a charming, character-filled cottage tucked away on Silver Street in a myriad of streets behind the Laurel Inn. This nice, quiet location in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay provides the perfect peaceful setting for a great holiday.
The cottage accommodates a maximum of 4 people and is spread over 4 floors. The top twin bedroom provides excellent views out over the village rooftops.

Graystones is a charming, character-filled cottage tucked away on Silver Street in a myriad of streets behind the Laurel Inn. This nice, quiet location in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay provides the perfect peaceful setting for a great holiday.
The cottage accommodates a maximum of 4 people and is spread over 4 floors. The top twin bedroom provides excellent views out over the village rooftops.
Ground Floor:
6 stone steps lead up to the main access door from the street. Entrance to the cottage is into the spacious lounge area with exposed ceiling beams that is equipped with two, 1-seater leather armchairs and a 2-seater leather sofa. There is a TV, small coffee table with lamp and a gas fire completes the room.
Lower Ground Floor:
Steep stairs from the lounge area lead into the kitchen below. The kitchen has a good size dining room table to comfortably sit 4 people. It is well equipped with a gas cooker with a 4-ring gas hob, microwave, under counter fridge and separate under counter freezer. It also comes with plenty of crockery and cooking utensils as well as a kettle and a toaster. Conveniently, Graystones also has a washing machine available for guests to use.
First Floor:
A staircase from the lounge leads to the first-floor landing. The master double bedroom is just to the right. There is a full-size double bed with matching bedside tables both with table lamps. For storage there is a small chest of drawers and hanging space inside the cupboard.
Next door is the modern bathroom, with a bath with overhead shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Second Floor:
A further staircase leads from the landing up to the top floor twin bedroom with a high sloped ceiling and exposed ceiling beams. There are 2 matching full size twin beds with matching bedside tables and lamps. There is a large chest of drawers providing suitable storage for belongings. You get a fantastic view over the village rooftops and the Bay over to the headland from the main window.
Graystones has full gas central heating throughout. Towels are provided as well as Wi-Fi and a Fisherhead parking permit for 1 car.

Robin Hood's Bay has been one of our favourite places to visit for several years, and Graystones cottage is where we always stay. In the heart of the village, Graystones is near the pubs, shops, the beach and several different walks. People are friendly and welcoming - what more could you want? The cottage is warm and cosy. It has all the amenities that you would need including access to the Fisherhead car park, which is a huge bonus. See you again soon.
We've always loved staying at Robin Hood's Bay and Greystones cottage was lovely. The cottage was cosy warm, very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped for our 4 adults stay. We would recommend Graystones cottage to family and friends.
