This beautiful old fisherman’s cottage is situated in the heart of the old village of Robin Hood’s Bay, just moments from the beach. The cottage is full of character, furnished to a high standard and retains some lovely original features.
A combi boiler provides central heating and instant hot water. Unusually for cottages of this size, the main bedroom is en suite. There is outside seating to the rear of the property and long distance sea and coastal views from the top floor.

Whole week bookings are Saturday-Saturday during high season.
Arrivals and departures are not accepted on 24th, 25th & 26th December and 1st January.

The accommodation comprises:
Ground floor
Entrance: Into the hallway
Kitchen/Lounge: TV with Freeview, DVD and an inglenook fireplace with a gas stove. There is a dining table and chairs and a comfortable sitting area. The kitchen area comprises an electric cooker with double oven, hob, grill, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. The large pantry houses a fridge/freezer.
First floor
Bedroom 2: This bedroom comprises a double bed and a single day-bed with storage underneath, a chest of drawers, dressing table and bedroom chair.
Bathroom: Bath with shower attachment, wash basin and toilet.
Second Floor
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a king-size bed with bedside tables and a large chest of drawers. There is also ample hanging space and a bedroom chair.
En suite shower room: Large shower, wash basin and toilet.
In addition.....
Parking: There is a permit for Fisherhead car park in the lower village. Heating: Gas central heating. Short breaks: Available for a minimum of 2 nights. Notes: This cottage is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

This is our 8th Year coming to Robin Hoods Bay. We book to come again as as soon as we get home, so that says it all really.The cottages, the bay, the pubs, the people, the beach, the surroundings, are all wonderful, and we have always been very well looked after. The highlight of our year..
We have been coming to RHB on and off for over 30yrs and obviously love the place, the walks, the facilities that's why we decided to spend our 30th wedding anniversary here. We have never been disappointed with any of the cottages we have stayed at as long as you appreciate the ages of these properties. We will be back soon
The weather was beautiful so we were outside all day. We enjoyed eating fish and chips, walking to Boggle Hole and exploring the pathways.
Wonderful stay at Rothwell cottage. We can’t wait to return to beautiful Robin hoods bay.

We were really impressed with the service from Sam - from having to rebook because of COVID through to his willingness to help with all our enquiries. The cottage was clean and comfortable and we loved Robin Hoods Bay and taking coastal walks along the beautiful coastline nearby. The Smugglers pub is a real gem and only 50 metres from the cottage - we found ourselves in there every evening for a nightcap!!!! We also really enjoyed a meal at the Wayfarer Bistro at the top of the hill and the fish and chips from the shop just down from the cottage were the best we’ve ever had. Thank you again for a fantastic few days - we will have no hesitation in booking again!

We stay in RHB at least once a year and love the amazing views, village atmosphere and quaint cottages. Rothwell cottage was a lovely place to stay, very well equipped with nice coastal themed decor. The views from the attic bedroom and en-suite were photographed many times during our stay and were beautiful in the different weathers we experienced. Thankyou.

Lovely cottage, so beautifully decorated and everything you need in one spot.Also a perfect location for the village and the care park spot was an added bonus.We can't wait to come back!
