This large Victorian house is spread over 3 floors and offers luxury self-catering accommodation for up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms. There are 2 lounges, a dining room equipped with an AGA and a modern kitchen. The upper floors have sea views from every room and the upper lounge offers views across the Bay and over the Moors.

Property Description

Lynnfield is situated on Station Road in the upper village of Robin Hood’s Bay. Perfectly located for the attractions of Robin Hood’s Bay and close to the beach, restaurants, the Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track.

This large Victorian house is spread over 3 floors and offers luxury self-catering accommodation for up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms. There are 2 lounges, a dining room equipped with an AGA and a modern kitchen. The upper floors have sea views from every room and the upper lounge offers views across the Bay and over the Moors.

Ground Floor:

Enter Lynnfield through the front door into a small porch area perfect for storing footwear. A second door leads into the large hallway with original floor tiles.

Towards the rear of the property is the well-equipped modern kitchen containing a Rangemaster cooker with 5 gas burners, 2 ovens and a grill. There is a large standalone fridge/freezer, coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher as well a kettle, toaster and a microwave.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room. A large farmhouse style table with chairs and original church pews sits up to 10 people. There is an AGA which is used for heating but also has two ovens.

There is a side access door between the kitchen and dining room that leads to the back patio and the rear parking space.

A large hallway leads to the main lounge. This large living area has exposed wooden flooring, three comfortable three-seater sofas, a 40’’ TV with Freeview and DVD player, a wood burning stove and a fantastic window seat with views out to the Bay and over the moors.

Next to the lounge is the spacious twin bedroom with full en-suite facilities, two full size single beds and a 32’’ flat screen TV with Freeview. The en-suite has a large shower, wash basin, WC and towel rail.

First Floor

The first floor has 3 bedrooms. The first at the top of the stairs is a cosy double bedroom with full en-suite facilities including a large shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. There are sea views and a full size double bed. There is also a 26’’ flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player.

The landing leads to the second bedroom. This very large bedroom has a full size double bed, small sitting area to the rear with coffee table, sea views, a 32’’ TV with Freeview and a DVD player and full en-suite facilities including a large shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. There is a large built in wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage.

The master bedroom is at the end of the first-floor landing. This luxurious king size bedroom has polished floors throughout, a Victorian fireplace and a glass chandelier. The room is equipped with a full size King bed, 32’’ flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player, a built in wardrobe, a delightful window seat with lovely views out to the moors and the Bay and full en-suite facilities including a roll top bath, spacious shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Second Floor

There is just one bedroom on the second floor. It is a full double bedroom equipped with a built-in wardrobe, full size double bed and chest of drawers. There is a large shower room across the landing complete with wash basin and WC.

In-between the double bedroom and bathroom is the second lounge also known as ‘The Captain’s Cabin’. There is a large 42’’ Flat Screen TV with Freeview and DVD Player,  a very large selection of DVD’s, leather corner sofa and a superb window seat with fabulous views out to the Bay and across the Moors. The perfect setting for a movie night!

Outside

Lynnfield has a private patio at the front of the house offering outside seating with sea views. A great place to relax with a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. The rear patio has a washing line and leads to the car parking space at the rear of the property.

Lynnfield has full gas central heating as well as unlimited Wi-Fi for no extra charge. There is one private parking space at the rear of the house and there are 3 permits for the council car parks opposite the property and further up the village opposite The Grosvenor Hotel. Bed linen and towels are provided and 2 dogs maximum are allowed per booking.
