Little John House is an exceptionally spacious cottage, located in the dock and just a few yards from the beach slipway. The house exudes comfort and space and is brimming with useful little extras to boost the enjoyment of your holiday. This is a house that retains the charming atmosphere of its age yet lends itself perfectly well to a happy family holiday.

Its location and proximity to the beach means that you only have to step outside the front door to be in the hustle and bustle of a 'day in the bay'. More importantly, it allows for very easy loading and unloading and is so close to the beach that if you forget the sun cream it's just a stone's throw away.

Reviews

It’s the place my family has been staying for 4 generations of holidays. This year my youngest grandchildren came for the first time. There’s something wonderful about watching a 2 year old helping to build a dam and throwing seaweed!

The cottage was in a perfect location in the heart of the village near the sea. House was perfect for 4 couples celebrating a birthday - lots of room , well equipped kitchen and lovely big dining table and living room. Communication with Sam was great and he was extremely welcoming . Would highly recommend

We are regular visitors to RHB for the past 20 years, we hadn't stayed in Little John's House before but it was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The cottage is incredibly spacious and well appointed, clean and comfy. The location was perfect and we would definitely choose to stay there again.

The house was amazing, we so loved it as it was so clean, comfortable and relaxing. We will be back!

We love spending time at RHB, and being able to stay in the lower bay is magical. Little John House was perfect for our family, lots of space, cosy and warm, comfy beds and lots of equipment. Perfect for all ages in our group, lots of happy memories for a family 79th birthday.

What a wonderful stay. So much room for our growing family. Amazing beds fantastic linen and the cottage was always warm..A big thank you to Sam from Baytown.Nothing is too much trouble night or day.Just a little problem re the dear bin men. Yes they have an important job to do ,but please come about 9am.instead of 7am.!!

Wonderful cottage, wonderful location, fabulous agency. What’s not to like. Had a lovely pre Christmas break with family. We will be back

LJH was a great cottage. Fully equipped with everything you could need for a week in the bay.Fabulous accomodation, very clean, spacious. Perfect location for beach access. Plenty to see and go in the area

Little John House was in a great location ..you can walk straight out the front door into The Bay area.Robin hoods Bay continues to be a very charming place & is well respected by visitors & locals who generally keep the area clean & feeling safe both daytime & in the evenings .The Bay Hotel is cosy & welcoming with a good range of hearty meals. The Bistro opposite Little John's House is also friendly & relaxed; we enjoyed delicious steaks.

I love RHB being coming for years, love staying at Little Johns, just wish it had a bath! The house is always spotlessly clean and I think you do a fantastic job, we have already booked for next year! We were very lucky with weather. We always try to support local businesses while we are there (19 of us at some points) by eating out and coffee and cakes, just found one establishment rude, but everywhere else were lovely as usual, looking forward to next year already, many thanks for a lovely stay this year.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday with our family. Beautiful beach and lots of great walks. Little John House has everything we need only 30 seconds walk from the slipway. We'll be back next year.

Another lovely stay at Robin Hood's Bay. We love the village and feel so relaxed each time we come. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink and we love the beach. The house we stay in is lovely and really well equipped, home from home!

We always enjoy our stay in Robin Hoods Bay because it is such a cozy place to be with everything you need esecially so if you have small children. Little John House offers everything for a large family, well equipped, lots of room and ideally situated. Thank you Sam for a great Holiday we will be seeing you again I'm sure. Alan Mcmahon

We loved it all!

Great, large, property near the sea. We had a brilliant stay.

Lovely place to stay, house had everything you need and right in the heart of the bay! We had lovely weather too which helped but could enjoy this place in any weather as the house was so cosy. We will definately return.

You really can't get a better location - right in the heart of the lower bay. Little John House is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and is no more than steps away from the pubs and shops. The bedrooms could do with decorating and it would be nice to have a DVD player available but these are very minor points. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Little John House as well as Baytown Cottages, Sam went above and beyond to help us secure our booking.

We have been coming to the bay for 37 yearsWe brought our eldest when he was 18 months and we chose Robin Hoods Bay to celebrate my 65 th because it is one of our happy places with wonderful memoriesThe place is pure magic????

Excellent time with all the family. Cottage was great just window in top bedroom leaking when heavy rain falling.

This is a fab house. Everything you could want - but it could go with a little updating and money spending by the owners. We stayed here last year snd was very pleased to see some work has been done. New floors and some decorating. But generally the house needs a good update in many areas. However - we cannot fault the attention snd support from Baytown cottages. Sams polite, kind nature and response to our needs was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended even without the updates.

Whilst we had concerns about the location being so central and right by the beach entrance, it was perfect. You dont really see or hear everybody passing. The house is very well equipped and easily slept 8 comfortably. If there was a negative it would be that you dont really get a TV signal, so take something with you that you can use on the wifi like a tablet or firestick to overcome that.I would certainly recommend this property and Robin Hoods bay is amazing.Sam @baytowncottages was really helpful and friendly.

A bright, clean, spacious and well equipped cottage. The kitchen has everything you could need and the book shelf and games cupboard is very well stocked. The location is great and so close to the beach, and some lovely pubs and shops, we did worry this might mean that noise could be an issue but it wasn't a problem at all, it was great. The village itself is lovely and the beach, cliffs and surrounding areas are beautiful whatever the weather.Robin Hoods Bay is a much loved family favourite of ours that we've been visiting for years and we would definitely stay at Little John House again, we all loved our stay, thanks Bay Town Cottages!

We've been on short visits to Robin Hood's Bay in the past, and liked it, but after staying a week in this absolutely delightful cottage, fell in love with the place. The cottage was well thought out and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We'd definitely come again.

Little John House was perfect for our Family - lots of space, with great amenities. We encountered a couple of small problems, but these were dealt with swiftly by Sam and Sian. Their help was immediate and the issues were resolved easily. Thank you!I have stayed in many cottages in RHB, and Little John House is definitely worth returning to.
