1. Switch Off

We know in this day and age it’s difficult to completely turn off our mobile phones it’s our work, life line to the outside world, it’s a book or magazine, it’s our entertainment, our camera and so much more. If daily life won’t let you completely turn off your phone compromise and turn off all your notifications at least. Alternatively, why not plan at least one hour a day of your vacation or staycation where you completely turn off your phone or leave it where you can’t see it, hear it, touch it or be distracted by it. Make mindfulness work for you a little bit at a time.

2. Sleep

Take time to rest and recharge, enjoy a lie in and switch off your phone before you go to bed and try not to turn it on until after you have eaten breakfast. Enjoy the softness of the pillows, the cosiness of the duvet and enjoy the peace, quiet and the calm.

3. Talk

Take time to talk to each other about your day, your plans, your favourite bits of the holiday, your experiences, adventures and discoveries.

4. Listen

5. Enjoy You Time
