Robin Hoods Bay at Christmas is our favourite place to be as a family. Roma cottage was perfect- so cosy and homely. Lots of new family memories made.

Roma cottage was ideal for a few night’s stay in Robin Hoods Bay. Minutes from the beach in the lower part of the village made it a great location. The Christmas decorations were a really lovely touch and made us feel very welcome. It was very clean,comfortable and well equipped.

Our visit to Robin Hoods Bay has been just fabulous, the whole village is beautiful, our cottage Roma was an absolute delight, very clean,comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely return !!

Great week in Roma. A lovely and well equipped cottage in a great location. Parking permit makes life a lot easier too! Sian and Sam are excellent and we have booked using Baytown many times and stayed in lots of different cottages, Descriptions and photos are always accurate and cottages are always very clean and great standard. On the odd occasion we have had a minor problem Sam has been immediately responsive and we feel really reassured that we are in safe hands! thanks for a lovely holiday and see you next year :)

Come every year for the folk festival and the bay is one of the most beautiful places in England . It’s peaceful, friendly and relaxing . Plenty of lovely walks, scenery and good pubs .

Stayed in Roma Cottage for the third time. It's a really well appointed, cosy property in a great location in lower Bay. Really handy for all the pubs, restaurants, shops, beach, cliff top paths etc. Winter really is my favourite time to visit too. Can't beat getting back and lighting the log burner on a cold day. ????

We come a couple of times a year to enjoy the get away from it all quality of the village.

Great service from Sam who called on our arrival day to warn about the icy conditions in Bay.The cottage was really nice, one of the best I've stayed in at RHB (and I've stayed in loads over the years). Really well appointed and kitchen and shower room were like new. Highly recommend and would defi stay here again.

Roma Cottage was warm, cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. The car park permit makes the cottage a good choice its not to far from Fisher Head to carry belongings. We loved RHB, enjoyed walks to Whitby and Boggle Hole along the beach for a drink by the log fire. We'll be back soon.

Great location - Robins Hood Bay is a special gem from the past. Fab cottage right in the heart of the old town and a minute’s walk from the beach, which is beautiful. The tiny fish and chip shop ‘Maid Marion’s’ a minute walk away with the BEST quality haddock. The Smugglers is a lovely cosy bar for the evening and the bistro does a great breakfast. A much needed weekend tonic!

The cottage was lovely, cosy but with great facilities for self catering in the spacious kitchen. It was perfectly situated for the beach and our whole holiday was fabulous, helped by a week of Autumnal sunshine. The only thing I would say was an issue was the sticking front door lock as I have arthritis in my hands so I really really struggled with it. Thanks so much for your help with the booking and we will return soon I'm sure ??

Regular visitors to the bay for a week in August. Being so lucky with the weather, we didn't spend a lot of time in Roma, but we loved this cottage. A luxury to have a bath separate to shower, great kitchen, everything spotlessly clean, comfy beds.Great location, bonus to have Fisherhead permit.

Lovely, comfortable cottage. Warm and cosy, loved the log burner after a winter walk on the beach. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and it was spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our weekend in the bay, it's lovely out of season, lots of festive spirit and often had the beach to ourselves.

Roma Cottage is a lovely place to stay and very well equipped for such an old building. The kitchen is fabulous and the lounge very comfortable. Once we had lugged our luggage from the car park we were very settled. Robin Hoods Bay is fabulous for a few days stay and we managed an early start to see and photograph the sunrise as well as several beach walks. Exploring the alleyways was fun and good for the legs! We will definitely return.

Loved it as ever. The bin situation is still annoying, but cant really be helped (i know the charge for coloured ones is high,) coulda done with more than 1 black liner though. Thanks to Sam for checking out the washing machine quickly for us, especially as you're so busy. Oh. And it could do with a potato masher. Lol.

We had a fantastic week in Roma cottage. The cottage was perfect for us, kitchen very well equipped and everything very clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing, great night's sleep.Sam was so very helpful and a pleasure to deal with throughout. He sorted out a very minor issue so quickly for us. Highly recommend this cottage for families or couples and it's position is perfect for a beach holiday in the Bay! Thanks Sam and Sian and see you next year!

The Bay, the cottage, the people, everything is so warm and welcoming. Its a real escape from our hectic lives and just the break we needed after the last year! Sam from Baytown cottages was very helpful and has helped us book another visit in the summer! Highly recommended, cottage was clean, had everything we needed and very comfortable. We cant wait to return.

We really did have a lovely stay at the very quirky Roma Cottage. Such a perfect location in the bay itself. Parking was close by and easy enough. The cottage was perfect For myself, husband and 2 children ( 5 & 9 ) for a few days stay. Kitchen is gorgeous, spacious and very well equipped. Lounge is nice & cosy with wood burner. Bedrooms and toilet are very small and separated only by thin plasterboard but my children loved their bunk AND you don’t go there to stay in bed, you go there to be in the beautiful place that is Robin Hoods Bay and all it’s surrounding places to visit that are close by. We had great communication and the cottage was clean. Great memories made to remember through these horrible Covid times.

We just love the Bay, weather really kind. Roma Cottage was lovely, spotlessly clean, so reassuring in these times. If only I could have brought that kitchen home! Had there been a TV down there don’t think we would have moved far. As for eating, by far the safest we felt was in the Bay Hotel, got it spot on with track and trace and socially distanced tables. Thanks Sam and Sian for another opportunity to stay in the Bay
