Pebbles Cottage is a charming, pet friendly holiday cottage situated on The Esplanade in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay. Set over three floors, Pebbles Cottage can comfortably accommodate five guests in three bedrooms, with the option of a sixth person using the pull-out bed in the single bedroom.

The cottage enjoys two patio areas. A larger space to the rear and a smaller patio to the front. Pebbles Cottage is dog friendly and welcomes one well-behaved dog per booking.

Property Description

Pebbles Cottage is a charming, pet friendly holiday cottage situated on The Esplanade in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay. Set over three floors, Pebbles Cottage can comfortably accommodate five guests in three bedrooms, with the option of a sixth person using the pull-out bed in the single bedroom.

The cottage enjoys two patio areas. A larger space to the rear and a smaller patio to the front. Pebbles Cottage is dog friendly and welcomes one well-behaved dog per booking.

Ground Floor:

Enter Pebbles Cottage through the upper door (rear of the property) into the light and airy kitchen. This modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable self-catering stay, including:

  • Standalone gas cooker with gas hob
  • Under-counter fridge with small freezer compartment
  • Slimline dishwasher
  • Combined washing machine and dryer
  • Ample storage and kitchen utensils
  • Dining table with seating for all guests

Across the hallway from the kitchen is the master king bedroom, featuring a full king-size bed (Please note that this bed can also be split into 2 single beds for additional sleeping options), matching bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers, a single wardrobe and a feature fireplace. From this room, enjoy wonderful views across the village rooftops and out to sea towards Ravenscar.

This bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a cubicle shower, wash basin and WC.

Lower Ground Floor:

A staircase leads down from the ground floor to the spacious and well-presented lounge area, furnished with:

  • Two large sofas and a separate armchair
  • Wall-mounted smart TV
  • Separate DVD player and bookcase with a selection of DVDs and books
  • Coffee table
  • Gas fire for added warmth

This level also has a second entrance door that opens out to the rear patio and provides access to Bloomswell, the street below.

First Floor:

Upstairs from the ground floor, you'll find the remaining two bedrooms and the main bathroom.

The double bedroom features a full-size double bed, matching bedside tables with lamps, a double wardrobe and a large chest of drawers. From here, enjoy elevated sea views across the Bay towards Ravenscar.

Across the landing is the single bedroom, which includes a bedside table and small chest of drawers. A full-size pull-out single bed is also available, ideal for an additional guest or a child.

Between the two bedrooms is the main bathroom, which includes a large bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC.

Please note: The single bedroom has a sloping ceiling, with full standing height only on one side of the room. It may not be ideal for taller guests, and care should be taken when moving around the space.

Outside:

Pebbles Cottage benefits from two outdoor seating areas:

  • The rear patio is the larger of the two and is accessed via the kitchen door. It features a wooden picnic bench and table on a paved area, which is reached by a short flight of steps.
  • The front patio, accessed from the lounge, is a smaller, more sheltered spot with a wooden bench, glass table, and additional chairs – perfect for enjoying the fresh sea air. A set of stone steps leads directly onto Bloomswell below.
