Orchard Cottage - Robin Hood's Bay

Orchard cottage is a lovely quirky cottage which we thoughtfully enjoyed. There are views across the tiled rooftops to the sea make mealtimes extra special in the second floor dining room . The front door leads to a peaceful, evening sun trap with a beautiful rose tree living up to the name of the area.We have been staying in RHB for many years now and baytownhoidaycottages have never let us down , the cottages always clean and nicely presented and they are friendly and helpful.

We have visited several times and just love the relaxed way of life and friendly people.

We love Robin Hoods Bay and have been visiting for the past 2o years. This cottage has everything, great location, cozy fire, and perfect place to sit when the sun is shining!

Orchard cottage was just perfect , excellent location so cosy and warm , we were blessed with great weather , lovely early morning skies and fabulous beach walks with our dogs. As always Sam and Sian were brilliant from booking to the actual stay , thanks again we will be back again later in the year .

Orchard cottage had everything we needed for a weekend in The Beautiful Bay, clean and peaceful. Communication was great from Sam even when we were a little late paying the balance. We will be back next year , thank you

We love coming to RHB…the two of us come for an annual getaway from everything..and we’ve also been with our partners,family and friends. Autumn is definitely our favourite time..less people, beautiful colours, magical sea. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like. We rarely go elsewhere, apart from long walks along the beach..visits to Bramble Bistro and the Laurel…it’s a joy to be vehicle free for a few days. This was our first time in Orchard Cottage..and we think it’s our best place yet. Perfectly situated and still has views. I love sitting having breakfast looking out over the jigsaw of rooftops and cosying up by the wood burner on a chilly evening.. but the I I g on the cake was Sam (I never had the opportunity to talk to Sian). He was soooo helpful, generous with his time and flexible. The joy in having a real live human being answer the phone..or call back really promptly is just wonderful and amazing in todays mad AI world. Thank you..such a response makes a break truly relaxing..removing all the stress. Thank you so much Sam..you will be our place to come from now on.

Orchard Cottage was absolutely brilliant, so beautifully appointed, so roomy, light and very comfortable. We had very good weather which meant we could go walking on both the Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track. Spent the day on the beach fossil hunting etc. Engaged with activities, Ghost Walk, Quizz in the put and the folk club. Both pubs were fantastic with Bay Hotel serving great good. Pity the Bay fisheries was closed, we were hoping for a week of fish meals, but we got by, even buy wet fish from the Fish Box, that surprised them! Bus Service was wonderful, far better than my home county. We have been spreading the word of both the cottage and RHB. Thank you for all you help.

Our fourth time staying at Orchard and it won't be our last. Probably my favourite cottage in the Bay! Now with towels provided so even better. We're already looking at the next trip.

The location is perfect, the cottage ticks all the boxes including being doggie friendly and it is the perfect place to be - we love it so much, this stay was our 2nd visit and we have already booked again for next year.

We enjoyed being by the sea in a picturesque setting. We were very lucky to have good weather.

A beautiful cottage in a gorgeous area with beach and walks on the doorstep. The cottage has everything you need and lovely views of the bay. In RHB there is so much to do, we went fossil hunting, saw seals, tried to find the Boggle and even walked a very muddy walk to Whitby. We will definitely be back.

Another perfect stay in Robin Hoods Bay. This was probably our 20th visit to RHB and our 3rd stay in Orchard Cottage. Great location and the cottage is perfectly laid out and a joy to stay in.We've already booked our next trip back in June!

As always received the best service from initial enquiry to closing the door on a fabulous cottage and heading home.This is the 2nd time I have stayed in Orchard Cottage with my dog and it fits our needs perfectly. Sink into sofas next to the fire, a brilliant view from the dining table whilst doing a jigsaw and enjoying a mug of Yorkshire Tea. The Kitchen is superbly kitted out and the bed is so comfy to fall asleep listening to the sea (with the window open) after a great day exploring Bay. Cant wait for my next visit

We have stayed in numerous cottages over many years in lower Robin hoods bay. Orchard cottage is one of the best we have stayed in. Great location, very clean and all you require for your stay. The sea views towards Ravenscar were a lovely bonus.

Love my time spent in Robin Hoods Bay, lots to see and do, stunning coastal walks, fabulous restaurants, great pubs and cafes. A perfect place to relax and unwind.

It wasLovely to wake up in Robin Hood’s Bay and head straight to the beach, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is always warm , welcoming and fun. The cottage worked well for our young family, we would stay here again.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay in Orchard Cottage. The cottage is only a couple of minutes walk to the sea and tucked down peaceful street in the old part of the village. It was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable family holiday and was spotlessly clean. Many thanks to Sam for being an extremely helpful host. We will definitely book through Baytown cottages again.

Love the place friendly local just feel our second home. We had such a lovely time exploring the area and spending time doing lots of walking with Nelson the Dally.Sam and Sian both are lovely great little company. Friendly, approachable , great information about the area and things to do.We love staying in Orchard Cottage but have stayed in a couple of the other cottages. Same standards clean, tidy, lots of information and care given about the cottage and things to do.Sam and Sian are always around if needed but we have always had a wonderful time. Great place, spotlessly clean,locals are very friendly and the views are to die for, what's not to like. We stay in orchard cottage, again, spotlessly clean ,warm, comfortable and with everything needed to make your stay just that bit extra special, dealt with Sam, nothings ever a problem and a nice chap, stayed several times and will definitely be staying again, outstanding!

Robin Hood's Bay is a magical place. We've been a few times as a family of four and Orchard Cottage has been our favourite so far. It's really cosy and comfy and ideally situated. Sam was also really helpful when our arrival was delayed because of snow.

We have stayed in Robin Hood’s Bay many times and in Orchard Cottage at least 3 times. The cottage is very cosy & well equipped and the bed is very comfortable!We come to the Bay with a group of friends and we all love it! The Bay hotel is a must visit and Brambles serves the best Chateaubriand with very friendly owners & staff.Sam & Sian are so easy to book with and always helpful and friendly.All in all I can’t fault our stay. ????

We have stayed in Robin Hood’s Bay several times previously, but Orchard cottage was the best accommodation we have stayed in. The layout was really good and spacious and spotlessly clean. Thanks also to Sam for the warm welcome and being so proactive in calling us to keep us updated on the wintry weather conditions!

We visit RHB around 4-5 times a year. We love the relaxed feeling and the fact that there are lots of dog friendly places. We have used Baytown Cottages a few times now to book our holiday cottages and cannot recommend them enough. Sam & Sian go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They are very knowledgeable about each of the properties on their books.

Lovely spacious cottage in a beautiful, historic fishing town.

Stayed in the bay many times, absolutely brilliant, friendly people and a fantastic coastline. Orchard cottage is clean,modern, with plenty of facilities to make you feel at home. Had a wee problem with locating heating thermostat, emailed Sam early Saturday morning, replied within minutes, problem solved, nothing seems too much trouble, top man, will be booking again soon, love it

As always Orchard cottage was perfect. RHB is magical and the service from Sam and Siân is amazing. Evenings sat in front of the fire after long beach walks and walks on the moors are relaxing and perfect for taking it easy. Thanks again - only 105 days until we come back!

It's our 7th year staying at Orchard Cottage, so it's become home from home. The cottage is well appointed, and we've always had such a lovely time staying there. It truly is one of the highlights of the year for us and our friends who come and stay scattered around Robin Hood's Bay.Next job - Book for next year!

Our second time staying in Orchard Cottage. Such a lovely cottage & had beautiful sunny weather. Absolutely love Robin Hoods Bay, it’s quaint cottages. Walking down the windy paths, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Can’t wait for our next stay, will definitely be back before the year is out.

Peaceful ,quiet, beautiful costal scenery, friendly people. orchard cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious with all the modern facilities you need, the baytown staff were also very helpful and genuinely friendly, re-booked before we left, brilliant

Always visit RHB when we are in the area but never stayed previously. Booking was very simple and straight forward. Sam couldn't have been more attentive while we were there, responding quickly to calls/messages. We saw him a few times working in the village and he always asked if everything was ok. Cottage was lovely and well equipped with views of the sea from the two upper floors. It had all the quirks you'd expect from one of these properties and many original features.We did a couple of coastal walks to Whitby and Ravenscar and there was plenty to enjoy in the evening with numerous pubs and eateries.We wouldn't hesitate to book again through Baytown cottages for our next stay.Catherine & Paul

Orchard cottage is in a perfect location. Set in the lower bay on a very pretty side street with fantastic views down towards the sea. Plenty of room for three adults and a dog and two minutes walk from the laurel pub which is always a bonus. This was probably our 10th time in Robin Hood‘s Bay, we’ve booked to come back twice more this year. Sam is an absolute star, can’t do enough for you.

Orchard Cottage is so cosy and comfortable. It has everything you need for a lovely short break and we will definitely book again. We loved the view over the rooftops to the sea from the bedroom and dining room!

We’ve been coming to the Bay for a few years now (missed it last year!) with a group of friends and we love everything about it! Our 3rd stay in Orchard Cottage, which is lovely especially the bed……so comfy, it’s also very well equipped. Sam & Sian are a delight to deal with nothing is too much trouble and always so pleasant to speak/deal with.We always love to visit the Bay Hotel especially to see Devan! We also had 2 fab meals at the newly opened Brambles Bistro and hope that they achieve the success they deserve, the owner & the staff are great.All in all another fantastic week in RHB…….see you next year x

The cottage was warm, cosy and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sam and Sian made the booking process simple and hassle free and their communication was spot on! We would highly recommend Baytown Cottages and we have booked through them again for the summer.

Beautiful cottage, has everything we needed. Comfortable lounge with log fire. Kitchen well equipped and a great location in lower bay. Love to sit at the breakfast table looking out to the beach. Ensuite is quirky and the downstairs bath is great for relaxing in!Baytown service was flexible, helpful and we were looked after superbly!

We've had a great weekend in Robin Hood's Bay every year now for 6 years. If you are an earthy sort of person, it really is paradise. The outdoors there is second to nowhere on earth, and it's great for families and friends to get together and enjoy.We can't imagine a year without it now..

The cottage was fantastic-exactly as described, spotlessly clean and in an brilliant location. We had such a great stay and it was fantastic to be back in Robin Hoods bay for the first time since lockdown. Sam could have not been more helpful and the service and communication we received from the initial point of enquiry was faultless. We couldn’t recommend Baytown Cottages more and have already booked our next stay. We will use them for every future booking and will be recommending them to everyone.

We’ve been visiting Robin Hoods Bay for many years. It was the first time we stayed in Orchard Cottage. It is a beautiful cottage with wonderful views. Our children loved their bunk beds! We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a wonderful cottage which had everything we needed and was spacious (a rarity in the bay!). We loved the small outdoor space and spent every night outside looking over the bay. During our stay we spent many days on the beach and exploring the village. We visited Whitby, Scarborough and Flanborough Head as well as doing the coastal walk to Boggle Hole (just far enough for little legs). As ever Baytown Holiday Cotrages were amazing! They are so accommodating, welcoming and helpful! A very friendly business who are happy to do anything they can to give you the best holiday! Thank you for having us and I’m sure we’ll see you soon. We have used Baytown holiday cottages a few times & haven’t been disappointed. The cottages are always lovely & Sam who I’ve mostly dealt with has always been super accommodating. Before lockdown we booked to stay in one of the smaller cottages but lockdown happened, then we fell pregnant. We when moved the date and explained to Sam about our new family member, he went out of his way to upgrade us to a larger cottage so we would have more space. He even made sure the travel cot was put up and high chair left out before our arrival. We will definitely be booking to come again next year plus my sisters all want to book cottages through Baytown holiday cottages too as they visited the one we were staying in and were super impressed. Thanks again for another amazing weekend.

First time to RHB and loved it, loved how quaint it was and the beach, walks etc. & being able to go almost everywhere with our dog. We loved our cottage it was so peaceful, with views of the beach in the distance. Stayed an extra night as didn't want to go home.
