Limpet Cottage is situated on The Esplanade in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay. Set over 3 floors, Limpet Cottage can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The top floor bedroom boasts a great view across the village rooftops and out to sea and the Ravenscar headland.
The cottage benefits from having outside space with a patio area to the front and small outside area to the rear. Limpet Cottage is pet friendly and will accept 1 dog per booking.

Property Description
Limpet Cottage is situated on The Esplanade in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay. Set over 3 floors, Limpet Cottage can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The top floor bedroom boasts a great view across the village rooftops and out to sea and the Ravenscar headland.
The cottage benefits from having outside space with a patio area to the front and small outside area to the rear. Limpet Cottage is pet friendly and will accept 1 dog per booking.
Ground Floor:
Entrance to Limpet Cottage is through the upper door on The Esplanade and leads straight into the kitchen and dining area. The modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay including a standalone electric oven with a 4-ring gas hob, under counter fridge, 2 slice toaster, kettle, microwave and a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine. There is a slimline dishwasher and plenty of utensils and crockery.
The kitchen also has a good-sized dining room table to have meals around.
Across the landing from the kitchen is the living room. There is a two-seater sofa as well as a 3-seater leather suite with an additional chair to fit all of your party. The living area also has a coffee table, feature fireplace (non-working) and a flat screen TV. There are views from the window out over the rooftops towards Fisherhead.
Lower Ground Floor:
Down the stairs from the landing leads to the very bright and spacious bedroom. There is a full king size bed with matching bedside tables and wall lamps as well as a large floor length mirror and large wardrobe for storage and hanging space.
Next door to the bedroom is a small en-suite with WC and wash basin.
There is access from this bedroom outside to the rear of the property to the small patio area and on to Bloomswell.
First Floor:
Up the stairs that lead from the kitchen to the first-floor landing. To the right is the second double bedroom with a full king size bed, matching bedside tables and lamps and large wardrobe. There are views out towards Fisherhead and out to sea across the village rooftops.
Next to the double bedroom is the main bathroom of the house. The bathroom with amazing emerald green tiles has a bath with overhead shower, wash basin, WC as well as a towel rail and bathroom cabinet for storage.
Across from the landing is the twin single bedroom. There are two full size single beds with a small chest of drawers in the middle of them and matching table lamps. There is a hanging rail and single wardrobe for storage.
Outside:
Limpet Cottage has two outside areas to the front and rear of the house. The larger area on The Esplanade outside of the main access door and the kitchen, has a pretty terraced garden with a patio area with wooden bench seating.
The second outside area is accessed via the lower ground floor bedroom and leads to a small patio area on Bloomswell.
Limpet Cottage provides unlimited free Wi-Fi for guests to use during their stay. There is full gas central heating throughout. Bed linen is provided as well as towels for each guest

We have been to Robin Hoods Bay many times and have always enjoyed our stays. Limpet Cottage was delightful. However, our holiday was marred by parking issues and problems. Not very relaxing! Sadly, we won't be returning.
We had a wonderful stay at Limpet Cottage, one of the best we have stayed in. It has everything you could wish for in a great location with a sunny outdoor terrace. Robin Hoods Bay is a magical place, there is truly nowhere else quite like it. Sam and Sian are so helpful and they run an excellent business, we will definitely book with them again ?.

Robin Hood's Bay is spectacular - a hidden gem on the North East Coast of England with stunning coastal walks. The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. We have been visiting Robin Hoods Bay regularly for over 30 years, it's our happy place! Limpet cottage is one of the nicest we have stayed in, beautifully decorated and well equipped comfortable beds a real home from home and credit to the owners. Beautiful cottage, Sam was extremely helpful when an issue out of anyone’s control arose. We come to RHB at least twice a year and always use Baytown cottages.

Another lovely stay at Robin Hoods Bay. We’ve stayed with Baytown before. This time we chose Limpet Cottage which was excellent. The rooms were spotless and invited you to relax. We had a problem with the gas boiler which Sam in usual no nonsense fashion sorted. Family joined both of us mid break and the cottage still felt spacious. Recommend Sam, Sian and Baytown to anyone.
We are familiar with the area already but this cottage made it extra special. Beautiful decor, well equipped and comfy beds. The decor is in keeping with the area, and very tastefully furnished. There is a lovely little garden and beautiful views of the sea at the end of the row. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. It’s a gorgeous place and we will definitely be back.
What a fabulous stay we’ve had at Limpet cottage . The cottage is outstanding , so well maintained and furnished . It’s such a beautiful place , all credit to the owners , who have made it so comfy and stylish , the beds were so comfortable , the kitchen was wellstocked and had everything we needed . The views across the Bay are outstanding from the front bedroom . Sam and Sian were fantastic , nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay went well. We had a lovely email on leaving the cottage , so nice for a business to be so thoughtful to their guests. Another lovely relaxing trip to Robin Hoods Bay. Super well equipped cottage. As always Sam accommodated our requests at short notice, extending our stay. Cannot rate Baytown high enough always on hand to ensure a perfect stay.
This is a beautifully presented cottage, bright and modern, whilst still in keeping with the coastal theme of RHB. Just lovely!! The beds are super comfortable, with luxury bedding and towels. Kitchen well equipped for those wanting to cook some meals whilst on holiday. I would personally have like a little freezer for ice, that’s the only negative. Dog friendly a real bonus for us, lovely dog water bowl a nice touch. Will definitely book again.
