Property Description

Homegarth is situated on Church Lane in the village of Fylingthorpe just less than a mile away from Robin Hood’s Bay.

This well presented, 2 storey house can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and benefits from a private garden to the front and rear of the house. There is also private parking for 1 car.

Ground floor:

Entrance to the house is from the front. There are 8 stone steps from the pavement outside leading to the front. Walk into the hallway where there is ample space for shoes and bag storage as well as hooks for coats.

The first door ahead leads into the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is very well equipped with an integrated electric dual fan oven, 4 ring electric hob, large integrated fridge with separate freezer underneath, dishwasher, 4 slice toaster, microwave, kettle, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and washing machine. There is a large selection of storage space, crockery and utensils.

To the rear of the kitchen area is a dining table with 3 seats and additional bench seating against the wall.

A door from the back of the kitchen leads into the conservatory area. This area is perfect for storage of items and walking boots. There is also a small additional part that houses a WC and a small wash basin.

On the other side of the hallway is the lounge area which consists of a large 5-seater corner sofa, armchair, coffee table and a TV with built in Freeview and a DVD player. There is also a small window seat and a gas fire.

First Floor:

Up the stairs from the hallway leads to the first-floor landing. To the right is the first of the two double bedrooms. There is a double bed with bedside tables and a wardrobe with storage room and hanging space.

Next door has two single bunk beds with a chest of drawers and a large bean bag to relax in.

On the other side of the landing is the main bedroom. There is a double bed with matching bedside tables and lamps, tall chest of drawers and additional storage space.

Next door is the very stylish bathroom. There is a large bath with overhead shower, wash basin with cupboard space underneath, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside:

Homegarth is lucky to have a private garden to the front and rear of the house. At the front is a small garden with flower beds and a small bench. The perfect sun trap towards midday.

To the rear is the much larger private garden. There is a large area of garden as well as a seating area with table and chairs. A great space to soak in the sun towards the end of the day. Towards the end of the garden is a private parking space for 1 car. The garden is lit at night to guide you from the parking area up the garden towards the house.

Bed linen is provided but you are requested to bring your own towels. There is a highchair and a travel cot with a small mattress available. Homegarth has full gas central heating and has Wi-Fi for you to use during your stay.

Please note that there are 8 stone steps up to the front of the property and therefore no wheelchair access or pushchair access unless it can be lifted. There are 3 steps from the parking space on to the back garden area and a small step up to the conservatory from the garden.
