Property Description
Cosy Cottage is situated on Albion Road in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay and is a very short walk down to the Dock area of the village, the slipway and the beach.
Cosy Cottage can accommodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms over two floors and has partial sea views over the dock of the village
Ground Floor:
Stone steps from the main street lead up to the front door of the cottage. Enter the property into a small porch area and a second door leads into the open plan ground floor.
The kitchen area is very well equipped and has plenty of utensils and crockery to be used during your stay. There is an electric fan oven, 4 ring gas hob, a Kenwood microwave and a SMEG fridge with small freezer compartment. There are also the essential items including a kettle, 2 slice toaster as well as a large Belfast sink and drainer.
The lounge area and living space has a 3-seater sofa and a single armchair. There is a stove effect gas fire when things get a little chilly, a large flatscreen wall mounted TV, DVD player and a Yamaha Bluetooth wall stereo. Between the kitchen and the living space is a drop-leaf dining table to fit 4 people.
Just off the kitchen area is the single bunk bedroom. There are two full size single bunk beds, a small chest of drawers for storage and a window overlooking Albion Road.
First Floor:
A door from the kitchen leads up to the first floor but just before that on the small landing to the left is entrance to the bathroom.
The bathroom has a full-size bath with overhead shower, wash basin with shaver points and WC.
Continue up the stairs to reach the double bedroom. This spacious room comprises of a full-size double bed with matching bed side tables and side lamps, large chest of drawers for belongings and a large flat screen wall mounted TV. There is a wardrobe to the side for hanging space and storage and a wash basin with shaver sockets. The window from the bedroom looks out over to the dock area with partial sea views.
Cosy Cottage has full gas central heating throughout and has unlimited Wi-Fi for guests to use during their stay. 1 dog is allowed in the cottage per booking for no additional charge.
Please note that there is no parking at Cosy Cottage despite the appearance of a parking space outside.

Love every minute I spend in Robin Hoods Bay. I get a feeling I belong there somehow. I started out staying in the campsite at the top of the hill then went on to the B+B’s and Victoria Hotel and then into the fabulous cottages in the bay. Cosy Cottage is just that, it’s small enough to feel cosy but roomy enough to spread out. And the beach is right on your doorstep. Now I’ll admit the walk back up the hill is a challenge, especially with a pram, but it’s all exercise and the views back are the reward. I’ll be back for sure.
Our stay in Cosy Cottage and Robin Hoods Bay was absolutely brilliant. We have visited and stayed in the Bay many times before and always leave feeling happy and relaxed. We particularly like the dog friendly beach all year round.

RHB has everything. It’s a beautifully, quaint village with lovely walks, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. It’s also close to Whitby, Scarborough and other interesting places to visit.Cosy Cottage is a great base to explore from. Right in the centre of the village, close to pubs and the beach.
Cosy Cottage is in a great location in the Lower Bay and is an ideal base.We had a great time as did our dog Eric.
Cottage was really cosy and our whippet loved it! The reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 was that the shower just didn’t get hot at all in any combination of either of the controls. I think this might need some maintenance……..
We really enjoyed our stay in Cosy Cottage. The location was perfect and it was so nice to be able to hear the sea with the bedroom windows open. The cottage was clean and comfortable, especially the beds, and there was everything you would need.The reason I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 stars is just because the shower wasn’t very powerful and did run cold at times, there was no tv remote and the radio didn’t work. It didn’t spoil our holiday though and the owners did offer to get us a remote sorted out but as it wasn’t a huge problem we declined. You could still operate the tv without a remote.I would definitely return to Cosy Cottage for future visits to the bay.
AMAZING Place as always, ticks all the boxes
Cosy Cottage was perfect for us - two adults and a child. Very comfortable and well equipped. One evening was surprisingly cold (for July!) - the central heating was a godsend. The location, so close to the beach and the shops, restaurants, was brilliant. Parking to load / unload can be a bit of a problem as there is so little space - but we managed. Excellent that Baytown Holiday Cottages (Sam) is just a phone-call away. Sam has been a brilliant help in the past.
This was booked as a last minute getaway. Lovely little cottage, perfect location. Loved the facilities in the cottage. The master bedroom was very comfortable. Thank you Baytown holiday cottages for a super trip! We’ll be back.
