Every cottage is also fully prepared for your arrival with fresh towels and bed linen provided as standard, so there’s less to pack and plan. Combined with comfortable living areas and well-equipped kitchens, our cottages are designed to give you a relaxed, stress-free base for the duration of your stay.
Parking In Robin Hood’s Bay
Parking is one of the most common questions families ask before visiting Robin Hood’s Bay. Yes, there can be a little toing and froing when unloading, but once parked, many guests happily leave the car for the rest of their stay. The village is best explored on foot, with the beach, shops, cafés and pubs all within easy walking distance from most cottages. If not all.
Dog Friendly Holidays
Robin Hood’s Bay is probably one of the most dog-friendly family holiday destinations. Many of our cottage’s welcome dogs, and the beach is dog friendly all year round, making it easy to enjoy coastal walks and beach adventures together. The surrounding cliff-top and countryside walks are perfect for both children and four-legged companions.
Activities, Attractions & Village Amenities
Families will find plenty to do during their stay, from rock pooling and fossil hunting on the beach to exploring the village’s historic alleyways, walking trails and coastline. Nearby Whitby and the North York Moors National Park offer even more family attractions, walks and days out. All accessible by bus if you want time off from driving. Within the village itself, you will find local shops, cafés, the Robin Hood’s Bay Museum, useful amenities and more all close by.
Eating & Drinking in The Village
Robin Hood’s Bay has a fantastic choice of places to eat and drink, from cosy pubs and cafés to takeaway treats by the sea. Many local businesses are dog friendly too, meaning the whole family can relax together before, during and after a day exploring the Yorkshire coast.
