Beach Essentials
One of the great things about a family holiday in Robin Hood's Bay is that the beach provides hours of entertainment, often for very little cost. Parking Costs
Parking is something worth factoring into your holiday budget before you arrive.
Robin Hood's Bay has several parking options, including the council-operated car parks at Bank Top and Station Car Park. If you're staying in Lower Bay, these are around a 5 to 20-minutes maximum (accounting for very little legs) walk from the beach and the Dock. Parking is usually FREE from 1st November with charges commencing again 1st March in both council operated car parks.
A small handful of our cottages include private parking, while others have nearby permit parking or unloading close to the property before parking your car for the duration of your stay. Be sure to check the individual cottage description before booking so you know exactly what's included.
Alternatively the private Fisherhead Car Park in the lower village does offer a small selection of spaces that are available to book in advance.
