Robin Hood’s Bay is a popular coastal holiday destination. The gem on the coast of the North York Moors National Park. Red pantiled rooftops adorn the stacked up houses that tumble down towards the bay. Dramatic cliffs and heather moorland surround the bay and cobbled alleyways make up the quaint little streets.

Cute tearooms, cosy pubs and a host of restaurants makes Robin Hood’s Bay a lovely escape to celebrate a special occasion. There are also two venues licensed to hold civil weddings.

Romaville

Romaville is situated on Victoria Terrace in the upper village of Robin Hood’s Bay and is very close to everything that Robin Hood’s Bay has to offer including the Cinder Track and the Cleveland Way. It is a short walk to the lower village where you will find shops, restaurants and of course, the beach.

This grand Victorian house spreads over 3 floors and will accommodate up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms. The stunning location of this property offers simply breathtaking views across the village and out to sea towards the Ravenscar headland. There are 2 lounges, a spacious modern kitchen and dining area and 2 bathrooms offering enough space for the whole party. There is private parking for up to 2 cars and a small garden to the front of the property.

Romaville is also dog friendly.

Little John House

Little John House is an exceptionally spacious cottage, located in the dock and just a few yards from the beach slipway. The house exudes comfort and space and is brimming with useful little extras to boost the enjoyment of your holiday. This is a house that retains the charming atmosphere of its age yet lends itself perfectly well to a happy family holiday. Its location and proximity to the beach means that you only have to step outside the front door to be in the hustle and bustle of a 'day in the bay'. More importantly, it allows for very easy loading and unloading and is so close to the beach that if you forget the sunscreen it's just a stone's throw away.

Little John House also comes with a parking permit for the nearby private Fisherhead car park for 1 vehicle. There is also a stairgate, highchair and travel cot.

Hensingham

Hensingham is situated right in the middle of Chapel Street in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay. It is a short walk down to the Dock area of the village and the beach.

This well presented, 3 storey cottage can accommodate up to 6 adults and 1 child in 4 bedrooms and benefits from having a garden/patio area that is private to the cottage.

Across the path from the front door is the private patio and garden area. There is a large outside wooden table with chairs with views out over the Beck and on to New Road.

Hensingham allows 1 dog per booking and there is free Wi-Fi available to use during your stay.

Lynnfield and Romaville are situated close to the Victoria Hotel. The Victoria Hotel is a popular civil wedding venue. Both properties would make ideal locations for either or both wedding parties. Both cottages would also be perfect for additional guests when hiring the rooms of the Hotel.

The Cove in the lower village of Robin Hood’s Bay is home to a secret chapel which is also licensed to host civil weddings.
