The first of two Bronze National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) run by AFS Mountaineering continues today.
Come and learn new skills and start your journey to become an independent and confident hill walker in the beautiful setting of Robin Hood’s Bay and the North York Moors.
The nationally recognised course is run in the North York Moors National park by an experienced, qualified and certified guide. It is run over 2 consecutive days with a minimum 12 hours tutor time (including assessment).
The second part of the 2-day course also starts at 8am in Secret Seaview where you can purchase food and hot drinks during the hour-long briefing. There will be evening work on the Thursday evening and you must attend the whole course. Here at Baytown Holiday Cottages, we have teamed up with AFS Mountaineering to offer you a combined package of the 2 day Bronze NNAS course and 2 nights’ accommodation in Robin Hood’s Bay where the course will begin and end each day.

Important information:
You will need to have a basic level of fitness and some experience walking in the countryside along with the relevant clothing.
